Ways to tithe / contribute to the parish 1)  Using your pre-printed weekly contribution envelopes by placing your envelope in the collection basket during mass or dropping it off in the parish office.  2)  Sign up for Electronic Giving online [ACH Church Donation Form - Noted above] 3)  Completing an ACH form to have your desired amount contribution directly withdrawn from your financial institution by the parish on a regular basis.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERSVolunteers who have regular contact with children (at least one time per week) are required to complete parts one and two of the Safe Environment training within 90 days of beginning their volunteer work.  Part I: Protecting God's Children, is offered regularly at sites throughout the Archdiocese. The training provides basic facts about child sexual abuse and adults’ roles in prevention.  Please register for one of the sessions at www.virtus.org(8) 10/29/2019 Our Lady of Mount Carmel - 6:30pm    Part II: The Mandatory Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse, is available online at our Training Institute (https://learning.childyouthprotection.org/) in English and Spanish. This training provides an overview of Archdiocesan reporting procedures for suspected child abuse and Pennsylvania Child Welfare Laws. The training should take you approximately one hour to complete. Ministry Support Groups

Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 19-20, 2019 - ST. VINCENT DE PAUL WINTER COAT COLLECTION  -- Do you have a winter coat that you could donate to a needy child or adult? The St. Vincent DePaul Society will be collecting winter coats to distribute to those in need.  Please bring new, or clean and gently used winter coats when you come to mass the weekend of October 19th and 20th.  Men's, Women's and especially Children's' coats are needed.   Collection bins will be at all the exits. Coats will be distributed at the Doylestown shelter, at Our Lady of Hope parish on North Broad Street, at The DePaul Catholic School in Germantown and at Face-to-Face ministries in Germantown

CCD & OLMC School

OLMC “Race for Education” Oct. 18, 2019: Our school community will be participation in a 21-day healthy habits challenge to get ready for our Race for Education on October 18th. During this time, we will learn about and practice healthy habits in school and at home. We will be working to get ourselves ready to participate in our Walk-a-Thon fundraiser on the 18th in Burpee Park. Our generous donors and sponsors will help raise money for: 1) Updating iPads and Chromebook, 2) making enhancements to our music, art and physical education curriculum, 3) supporting continuing academic efforts and 4) purchasing new recess equipment. OLMC Basketball Registration is Open! We invite all children in the parish – grades 4-12 to participate and experience the atmosphere of the OLMC Bulldog Basketball. Registration is now open through our website www.olmccyo.org

You are invited to join Susan Brinkmann who will present an enriching retreat that will affirm, uplift and empower women to realize their inherent dignity as daughters of God and how to use their unique genius to bring healing and hope into the world! Our presenter is an award-winning Journalist, author and frequent guest on EWTN. She is Director of Communications at Women of Grace® and is a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. Sunday, November 10, 2019 through Tuesday, November 12, 2019 - FORTY HOURS DEVOTION  We are very privileged to have one of our priest sons of the parish preach our Forty Hours devotion this year, Fr. Charles Zlock, Pastor of St. Monica Parish in Berwyn, PA.  Forty Hours begin Sunday, Nov. 10 and conclude Tuesday evening with a Candlelight Procession and Benediction.

Oberammergau Passion Play Pilgrimage: Join Fr. David Friel on a 10-day pilgrimage to Bavaria & Alpine Europe. Dates are May 26–June 4, 2020, and the cost is $3490 (includes airfare, breakfasts, dinners, tours).
