• Please observe the following points regarding the distribution of Holy Communion.
• Communicants are strongly encouraged to receive Communion in the hand.
• Those who wish to receive Communion on the tongue should come to the foot of the altar after all others have received.
• For the reception of Communion, remove any masks and gloves.
• Communion lines will be single file with 6 foot spacing between communicants. Please note that there will be ONLY one line in the center aisle. A single-file line will continue after the break (if needed).

Parish Office and Meeting Space Update – Green Phase:  Although Bucks County is now in the Green Phase, the parish office will continue to operate as it did in the Yellow Phase. The office is officially closed but it is operating on a scaled-down version of its typical hours. Limited staff will be available in the office Monday through Friday. We encourage you to contact the staff via phone (215-348-4190) or email (nicole_olmc@comcast.net). If you need to come into the office, please call to make an appointment. All those who come into the office will need to wear a mask and keep it on while in the office.

Parish ministries are being encouraged to meet via Zoom. If your ministry would like to meet in St. Mary’s Hall, contact Joyce Raines at the parish office. When permissible, ministry meetings will be allowed in St. Mary’s. These meetings should be for no more than 10 people.

Please note that if you need a Mass Card, sacrament information, a sponsor form, an appointment with a priest or would like to register at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, contact the parish office and our staff will assist you. We appreciate your cooperation as we navigate this uncertain time. Ministering to our parishioners and safeguarding the safety of our staff and parishioners are our top concerns. We continue to follow Archdiocesan guide-lines, practice social distancing, and maintain effective sanitation of the church and PLC.

Please Give Further Thought to Online Giving

We readily acknowledge and appreciate the fact that many households will be experiencing a financial strain during this time. But, in light of the temporary suspension of public Masses throughout the Archdiocese and beyond, we respectfully ask that those who have not yet done so seriously consider the “Parish Giving” program that has been in place for a few years here at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Parish Giving” is an electronic funds transfer program whereby you can make your church contributions automatically from your checking account or credit card. It’s times like this, as well as vacation times and other times away from home, that such a financial arrangement makes so much sense. We still have bills to pay (as you surely do, too). Know that your consistent and sacrificial giving to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish is never taken for granted. This is true now more than ever. God bless you for your generosity! Click HERE to sign-up online.”
